Gaffer Gold Ruby Extra is a beautiful deep transparent ruby pink. Gold Ruby Extra is CoE 96, which can be used of glass with a CoE of 90 to 104 when using about 5%, or in any amount when using glass with the same CoE.
Gold Ruby Extra is not a reduction frit, but it can produce a subtle metallic effect when slightly reduced, which can produce extra character to beads etc.
The beads shown are for demonstration purpose only. Each set have been made with Gold Ruby Extra on one side of the bead and another coloured frit on the other side of the bead. The first set have been slightly reduced to give the Gold Ruby Extra a subtle metallic effect.
